Ink Material is an artist collective currently working on the webcomic The Crimes of House Vladimus based on a Rogue Trader tabletop RPG campaign set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40k universe.
Meet the players:
Edmund
Edmund is a swamp hobo, insect botherer, multi-disciplinary martial artist, ordained reverend, and objected heavily to the bio segment. As such, you will learn his greatest weakness: Jerry Seinfeld’s Bee Movie (2007). He is also the game master for The Crimes of House Vladimus.
Isabel
Isabel has a degree in interior design and she works as an innkeeper on an island in the North Atlantic. She is behind the colours on The Crimes of House Vladimus, and she plays Arabella of House Benetek. She is also an expert in embroidery, and embroidered with such vigour that her doctor told her to stop.
Grayson
Grayson majored in character design and illustration, and graduated from ACAD in 2021. They are a professional aerialist and are the primary artist behind The Crimes of House Vladimus. They play Rhaban Symbria and also can‘t reach the top shelf. They have largely modeled their life and aesthetic after Dick Grayson (AKA Nightwing) and get closer to becoming him every day.
Spencer
Spencer is adamant that he has not helped at all with the comic, but forgets what an integral role he plays in being the player behind Silvanto Stigg. He is also the resident tech priest for Ink Material and serves as a figure model for many of the action scenes in the comic. Otherwise he can be found sword fighting or conjuring new RPG ideas.
